Warehouse Assistant

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Location: R&M Productions, Stokesley

Salary: £17,000 per annum (Negotiable based on candidate suitability and experience)

Hours: Standard working hours would be 09.00 till 18.00 Monday to Friday however during busy periods the successful candidate may be required to work at weekends or occasional evenings or nightshifts to turn equipment round from event to event. Overtime will be available and may be required as and when needed.

R&M Productions Ltd are one of the North East’s leading event production and rental companies supplying a wide range of products and services to both the corporate and private events sectors mainly in the UK but also overseas. Our stock includes Lighting, Video, Rigging, Staging and Audio equipment.

We now have the opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work with the wider warehouse team under the leadership of the Warehouse Manager.

This is a challenging full time role with plenty of scope for future career development in a fast growing company in the events industry. The role would be ideal for someone looking to enter the industry or for someone with existing experience working in a warehouse environment looking for an interesting career change into a different sector.

Duties:

  • Organisation of the warehouse / workshop equipment and consumable items.
  • Checking in equipment returned from hire.
  • Prepping and De-Prepping equipment for hire.
  • Stock Control using Current RMS rental management software.
  • Load and Unload vehicles and oversee vehicle loading logistics.
  • Assist with Service, Repair and Maintenance of Fixtures and Equipment.
  • Ensure all company equipment is kept in pristine condition and uphold the companies exceptional standards and attention to detail.
  • Complying with the company’s paperwork process to generate and file hire agreements and Prep Lists.
  • Complying with company health and safety procedures.
  • Loading / unloading of vans and trucks as required.
  • Occasional work on site rigging / de-rigging for events.
  • Occasional deliveries to site when required.
  • Assisting in all aspects of the day to day company operations as required.

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Sound, Lighting and Visual systems and their applications is an advantage but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving License is required.
  • Forklift Truck License an advantage but not essential.

A full programme of training can be provided to the right individual. Knowledge of Sound, Lighting and Visual systems and their applications is an advantage but not essential.
